H&M France Launches its Online Repair Service with Save your Wardrobe & Reekom

London, September 14th – H&M France is making it easier for customers to keep clothes in use for longer with the launch of an online garment repair service accessible across France. Partnering with Save Your Wardrobe, this initiative aims to extend the lifespan of products - across all brands - and meet evolving consumer expectations regarding responsible consumption.

Powered by Save Your Wardrobe, H&M’s new online service makes repairs simpler, more accessible, and more practical. Available via a dedicated section on H&M’s online shop in France hm.com, the platform allows customers to have their clothes repaired in just a few steps: selecting the item, sending the product to a specialised workshop, approving the final quote, and receiving the repaired garment directly at home. Open to all brands, the service initially covers everyday repairs such as replacing zips or buttons, mending seams, or repairing holes and snags.

To roll out the service at scale, H&M is working with two complementary partners. Save Your Wardrobe is the aftersales technology platform powering the repair service, managing the digital experience, customer journey and operational coordination from booking through to completion. Repairs are carried out by Reekom, a specialist textile repair provider, at its workshop in the Île-de-France region. This model ensures a seamless experience and high quality standards while drawing on local, specialised expertise.

“We’ve built Save Your Wardrobe to be the robust, scalable infrastructure behind modern aftersales- designed to support different brands, operating models and customer needs, while delivering the same ambition: making product care and longevity easier to access and scale. This collaboration is an important reflection of that. It demonstrates the breadth of our platform and our ability to work with some of the world’s most recognised brands to embed aftersales more deeply into the customer experience.” comments Hasna Kourda, co-founder & CEO, Save Your Wardrobe.

"This collaboration with H&M demonstrates that it is possible to offer high-quality repair services at scale while relying on local expertise. From our workshop in Seine-Saint-Denis, our teams work every day to extend the lifespan of textile products. This project is a huge step forward for the textile reuse sector, and participating contributes to developing a French repair industry that creates jobs and social integration opportunities. It is very strong proof of a market shift, showing all industry players that reuse is transforming the entire sector," adds Guillaume Perret du Cray, co-founder of Reekom

An initiative driving circularity

By digitalising its repair offering which was previously limited to select stores—H&M is reaching another key milestone in the development of its circular services. The system also enables customers to benefit from the Refashion repair bonus for eligible services, making the approach even more accessible. Designed as a scalable solution, this new offering is launching in mainland France with the objective of testing usage, gathering customer feedback, and expanding the service in the coming months. This launch aligns with a broader ambition: providing tangible alternatives that encourage people to care for, repair, and extend the lifecycle of their clothes.

"Repairability is an essential lever for circularity and aligns fully with H&M's strategy to support innovative new, more responsible consumption habits through practical, accessible solutions. The launch of this online repair offering marks an important step in our roadmap for France, one of the first European markets where this service is being deployed. We are also thrilled to rely on the expertise of committed partners such as Save Your Wardrobe and Reekom to support us in this shared ambition: making circular solutions ever more accessible to our customers." concludes Thomas Estrany, Managing Director H&M France.
