Save Your Wardrobe continues to scale its aftersales infrastructure, powering repair and care services for Klarna shoppers across the UK and France.
London, 29 September 2026 - Save Your Wardrobe, the aftersales platform powering post-purchase services for brands and retailers, has partnered with Klarna to power its Care & Repair feature in the UK and France. The integration connects eligible purchases in the Klarna app to repair, alteration and cleaning services, bringing aftercare services directly into the customer journey.
Save Your Wardrobe provides the technology and network of vetted specialists behind the service, matching shoppers with the right provider and managing the experience from booking through to completion. By connecting these services to items shoppers already own, the partnership makes aftercare easier to discover and access.
The announcement follows a 248% increase in repair bookings on Save Your Wardrobe’s platform between 2024 and 2025, demonstrating growing repair activity across its own operations. New research from Save Your Wardrobe, Create Sustain and Klarna highlights the opportunity to connect more consumers with repair services. Developed collaboratively as a broader contribution to the industry’s repair conversation, the report explores consumer attitudes, awareness and barriers to repair across the UK, France and Italy. 80% of French consumers and 77% of UK consumers want brands to make their repair services more visible, a reminder that demand for repair is running ahead of the services consumers currently use. Only 19% of French shoppers and 14% of UK shoppers have ever used a brand's repair service, underlining how much room there is for growth as more retailers roll these services out.
For Save Your Wardrobe, that gap underlines the importance of making aftersales services an accessible part of the customer experience.
“Aftersales is becoming a critical part of the commerce experience, and the fact that global fintech leaders like Klarna are investing in this space shows just how much the market has evolved,” said Hasna Kourda, Co-founder and CEO of Save Your Wardrobe. “We’ve spent years building the technology, specialist network and operational infrastructure needed to make repair accessible and scalable. Partnering with Klarna allows us to bring our trusted infrastructure into a platform already embedded in how millions of people shop, creating a natural connection between purchase and post-purchase care.”
"This is a gap in access and awareness, not appetite. 77% of UK consumers want brands to make their repair services more visible, and demand for a genuinely easy experience is consistent across the data, from faster turnaround, to easier booking and drop-off, to home collection options. Care & Repair addresses this directly by sitting inside a step shoppers already take, checking their past purchases, rather than asking them to go looking for a repair service on their own. We want to make repairing as easy as buying new", said Louisa Garcia Moreno, Klarna Sustainability Communications Lead
The research also points to a commercial opportunity for brands across Europe. In France, 77% of consumers say knowing repair is available would make them more willing to invest in a higher-quality item. Meanwhile, 79% of Italian consumers say knowing a brand offers repair would make them more likely to buy from that brand again. These findings suggest that access to aftercare can influence both purchase consideration and consumers’ stated
Save Your Wardrobe’s service data highlights the potential value for shoppers. Across UK and French partner-brand bookings analysed, customers spent an average of 63% less on repairing or altering an item than its estimated retail value. Repair and alteration costs included shipping and any brand markups.
Through Care & Repair, shoppers can access service options from eligible items in their Klarna purchase history before continuing to Save Your Wardrobe to book and pay. Save Your Wardrobe then manages the service through its specialist network.
The partnership extends Save Your Wardrobe’s work building connected aftersales infrastructure, helping businesses make repair, care and other post-purchase services a consistent part of their customer offering.
Klarna’s Care & Repair service is available in the UK and France. The research also covers Italy, where the feature is not currently available.
Consumer research was conducted in July 2026 among nationally representative samples in the UK (1,004 respondents), France (1,009) and Italy (1,000), totalling 3,013 respondents. The research was carried out as a collaborative project by Save Your Wardrobe and Create Sustain in collaboration with Klarna.
The 248% increase refers to repair bookings on Save Your Wardrobe’s platform between 2024 and 2025 and is not a measure of the wider repair market.
Repair-cost figures are based on Save Your Wardrobe data across UK and French partner brands. Item values are estimated using brands’ recommended retail prices, rather than verified original purchase prices. Customer costs include the service, shipping and any brand markups, and vary by brand.
